محمد ظاهر عزیز سفیرپیشین افغانستان در بلجیم و نویسنده کتا ب گلنار امروز درمحفل معرفی کتاب اش گفت : حکومت تا اکنون به خاطر محو بیسوادی واعاده حقوق زنان درکشور کار بنیادی نکرده است . وی ادعا نمودکه، در حال حاضر بیش از هشتاد درصد زنان درکشور بیسواد اند ودولت تا اکنون هیچ توجه ی در این زمینه نکرده است. اقای عزیز افزودکه، حکومت مکلف است تا بخاطر شخصیت سازی زنان برنامه های بزرگی را در اولویت کاری خود قرار دهد زیرا هرگاه خانمی باسواد باشد اطفال باسواد در جامعه میسپارد. به باور اقای عزیز درحال حاضر چهل در صد دختران واجد شرایط مکتب، از رفتن به مکاتب محروم اند . در همین حال سیما سمر رئیس کمیسیون مستقل حقوق بشر افغانستان با حمایت از نشر این کتاب گفت: )) کتاب گلنار برگرفته شده است از واقعیت های زنده گی زنان درکشور میباشد (( خانم سمر با تائید گفته های اقای عزیز افزود که، پنجاه سال قبل یک زن میتوانست با خاطر اسوده در داخل وخارج از کشور سفر کند اما درحال حاصر یک زن نمیتواند به راحتی از منزل اش بیرون شود . ((محمد ظاهر عزیز در رابطه به کتاب اش گفت :( (کتاب گلناردرحمایت از زنان و مبارزه با خشونت علیه زنان برگزیده ی از واقعیت زنده گی دختریست که وادار به ازدواج اجباری شده است .

هنوز بریده شدن گلوی این زن در معما قرار دارد. او زنده ماند اما نمیتواند صحبت کند.

She began taking the drug two years ago with her parents who are already drug addicts too. The latest US State Department survey on drug use in Afghanistan says the number of adult drug users could exceed 1.3 million, out of an estimated population of up to 30 million, with nearly 300,000 children affected but the numbers are higher than estimated by US State Department. According to the UNODC, the number of drug users in Afghanistan grew by 53 percent from 2005 to 2010.

Again bomb blast!!!

An injured Afghan girl taken to hospital after an IED bomb blast last week that killed nearly 17 people most of them women and children in Western Afghanistan of Herat province.

Ten of the dead were members of the same family, police said.

Police said that those killed were travelling from their village in Obe district to a local town when it hit the improvised explosive device (IED).

ماریا بشیر رئیس سارنوالی استیناف ولایت هرات ضمن تایید این رویداد به آژانس خبری وخت گفت: احمد ولی طاهری برادر داکتر رنگین دادفر سپنتا مشاور امنیت ملی رئیس جمهور حوالی ساعت هشت صبح زمانی مورد تیر اندازی افراد مسلح ناشناس قرار گرفت که از خانه عازم محل کارش بود.

وی میگوید که افراد مسلح، موتر سایکل سوار بودند ولی هنوز به درستی مشخص نیست که این رویداد از سوی چه کسانی رخداده است.

سید فضل الله وحیدی والی هرات هم پس از مطلع شدن از این رویداد به ولسوالی کرخ هرات رفته است.

عبدالروف احمدی سخنگوی پولیس هرات در گفتگو با آژانس خبری وخت از آغاز تحقیقات در این مورد خبر میدهد ولی به گفته ی وی تا اکنون کسی در پیوند به این قضیه بازداشت نشده است.

احمد ولی طاهری از ده سال بدینسو در ولسوالی کرخ ولایت هرات بحیث سارنوال ایفای وظیفه مینمود.

ولسوالی کرخ در 35 کیلومتری شهر هرات موقعیت دارد و یکی از ولسوالی های نسبتا امن هرات محسوب می شود.

The day after the American rocket attacks on Afghanistan, around a thousand Taliban under the name of university students started a demonstration in Kabul, Even though the number of students that were Talibs were not more than ten. Cars full of Taliban were shouting slogans against America, Clinton, Iran, Khomenei, Rafsanjani and… However, ordinary people used the opportunity of the chaotic situation and shouted slogans against Pakistan and Nawaz Sharif, which naturally annoyed Taliban.

Taliban also forced Hazaras to make demonstrations against Iran and America. A taxi driver who was driving by the demonstrations shared his opinion as follow: 

“Why should Afghans defend Laden? Laden’s money is spent on Datsuns that are marks of murders and tyrannies. Laden spends his money on Taliban’s war. He is helping Taliban who are committing the most dreadful crimes on Afghan people. How could someone defend Laden and call himself an Afghan?”

Some university students’ opinion about the rocket attack:

“Our people view this conflict between Taliban and the US as a husband and wife quarrel. Or, the master is rebuking his servants for supporting another servant who has rebelled against the master. In the meantime, Mulla Omar is using the situation, and by making these noises wants to convince people of his independence from the US!”

“Mulla Omar is supporting Osama bin Laden because Osama has given him his daughter for marriage and he is also spending a lot of money on Taliban. Mulla Omar prefers his dear Arab father-in-law over his suffered nation”

“Like Gulbuddin and his allies, Laden is a pet dog for the US, and the US doesn’t need Cruise Missiles to reprimand him. The Americans can as easily get rid of Laden as they disposed of Gulbuddin and companions. The rocket attacks were just for the benefit of distracting American people away from Clinton’s moral scandals. In addition, the US wanted to tell the world that they are the only super power and they will do whatever they want to”

“A few days after the rocket attack Taliban signed a $250 million communication deal with the Americans. What does it tell you, that the husband and wife had a fight and fools took it seriously.”

Afghanistan court releases men convicted of torturing 15-year-old bride

Afghan rights groups expressed indignation over the early releases, calling it a step back in time for Afghanistan’s women

A court in Kabul ordered the early release of three people convicted over the torture of a child bride, an official confirmed Saturday, in a move denounced by activists as a blow for women’s rights.

Sahar Gul, who was 15 at the time her ordeal, was burned, beaten and had her fingernails pulled out by her husband and in-laws after she refused to become a prostitute in a case that shocked the world.

She was found in the basement of her husband’s house in northeastern Baghlan province in late 2011, having been locked in a toilet for six months prior to her rescue by police.

Her father-in-law, mother-in-law and sister-in-law were sentenced to prison for 10 years each for torture and attempted murder, though her husband remains at large.

“But after the court reviewed their case, it found out that they were only involved in family violence,” Supreme Court spokesman Abdullah Attaee told AFP.

The court did not have enough evidence against them, he said, adding a fresh prosecution would be launched .

“For now, the court has ruled that the time they have spent in jail is enough for them,” he said, though he could not say when the ruling was made or whether the trio had yet been freed.

Afghan rights groups expressed indignation over the early releases, calling it a step back in time for Afghanistan’s women.

“This case, once heralded as a legal triumph underscoring the advances for women’s rights in the past decade in Afghanistan is now a harbinger of a grim future,” Women for Afghan Women, a Kabul and New York based women’s rights organisation who helped Gul during the trial wrote on their website.

Violence and abuse against women continues to be a major problem in Afghanistan a decade after US-led troops brought down the notorious Taliban regime.

In May the Afghan parliament cut short a debate on a bill to protect women from violence after complaints from some traditionalist MPs that it was against Islamic teaching.

The Elimination of Violence against Women (EVAW) law, which was passed by a presidential decree in 2009, is seen as a benchmark piece of legislation marking progress since the fall of the Taliban regime nearly 12 years ago.
