Bishkek to host International Conference about Afghanistan KABUL: (MEP) – prospects of development of the situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, challenges and threats to security in Central Asia amid withdrawal of main troops of the International Security Assistance Forces” International Scientific and Practical Conference will be held in Bishkek on October 10, the Secretariat of the Kyrgyz Defense Council informed, Bishkek news reported. It was reported that the conference is to be organized within the planned events to implement decisions of the December session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the priorities, suggested by the Kyrgyz Republic for the period of its chairmanship in the organization. Leaders of international organizations, special representatives of UN, CSTO, SCO, EU, OSCE, NATO, CIS Secretary Generals, special agents for Afghanistan, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors, accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic have been invited to the conference. Besides, experts, specialists, orientalists from neighboring countries and beyond ( the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, USA, Central Asian region, India, Iran, Turkey, Mongolia and others) will also attend the event.
